friday power hours

WHAT IT IS

Friday Power Hours is a weekly summer program designed to help children stay connected to learning in a balanced, supportive way.

After a week of fun at their summer camp, children come in once a week to refresh key school skills, maintain learning momentum, and build confidence without pressure. This program helps children stay consistent with reading, math, and writing while also receiving support to complete their school-assigned summer packets.

It is a gentle, structured way to keep learning active so children return to school feeling prepared and confident.

Notes

  • Register for all 6 sessions for $630, 3 sessions for $345 (save $60), or individual dates for $135 per class.

OUR APPROACH

Friday Power Hours focuses on maintaining skills through engaging, low-pressure learning experiences.

Consistency Over Cramming
Short, weekly sessions help children retain learning in a steady, manageable way.

Active Learning
Skills are reinforced through games, hands-on activities, and interactive learning rather than worksheets alone.

Guided Support
Therapists and educators provide individualized guidance so children feel capable and successful.

Confidence First
The focus is on effort, growth, and helping children feel good about their abilities.

WHO IT'S FOR

Friday Power Hours is designed for children entering Kindergarten through 4th grade.

This program is a great fit for children who:

  • Would benefit from staying connected to learning over the summer
  • Are developing reading, writing, or math foundations
  • Feel more successful with structure and guidance
  • Benefit from gentle accountability with school packets
  • Learn best in small-group, supportive environments
  • Build confidence when learning feels manageable and engaging

WHY ONCE A WEEK WORKS

Some children do not need hours of daily academics to maintain skills over the summer. What they need is consistency.

A weekly learning touchpoint helps children:

  • Keep reading, writing, and math skills active
  • Prevent skill loss that can happen over long breaks
  • Feel more confident returning to school
  • Stay connected to learning without feeling overwhelmed
  • Build steady habits that make school transitions smoother

Because sessions are spaced out, children have time to rest, play, and enjoy their summer, while still maintaining important academic foundations.

This balanced approach supports both learning and well-being β€” helping children return to school feeling prepared, capable, and confident.
