Sunny Days Sensory Camp
YOU MIGHT BE NOTICING...
Your child may be:
- Getting overwhelmed quickly
- Having a hard time with transitions
- Moving constantly, crashing, jumping, or seeking input
- Having big reactions to small things
- Or shutting down when things feel like too much
And you’re left wondering… “What do they actually need right now?”
You’re not alone in this. And your child is not doing anything wrong.
WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON
For many young children, behavior is not the problem.
It’s a reflection of what’s happening in their body.
Their nervous system is still learning how to process:
- movement
- sound
- transitions
- expectations
When it feels like too much, it shows up as overwhelm, resistance, or dysregulation.
Not because they won’t…but because they can’t yet.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS
Sunny Days is a sensory-based camp designed to support regulation, confidence, and ease through play.
This is not a typical camp.
It is a therapeutically designed experience, led by pediatric occupational therapy professionals, where children:
- engage in sensory-rich play
- build regulation through movement and hands-on experiences
- receive support through transitions and group participation
- feel safe, understood, and successful
We are not asking children to “hold it together.”
We are helping them build the capacity to feel better from the inside out.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Sunny Days is designed for children ages 3.5–5 who:
- Feel things deeply
- Get overwhelmed easily
- Need a lot of movement or sensory input
- Struggle with transitions or flexibility
- Have big emotional reactions
- Benefit from gentle structure and support
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE
Each day is thoughtfully designed to support your child’s nervous system while keeping the experience playful and engaging.
Children will experience:
- Movement-based sensory play
- Obstacle courses and body-based activities
- Creative and tactile exploration
- Guided group play and connection
- Supported transitions and regulation moments
All within a calm, attuned, and supportive environment.
WHAT PARENTS OFTEN NOTICE
As children begin to feel more regulated in their bodies, parents often notice:
- Smoother transitions
- Fewer meltdowns
- Increased engagement in play
- Greater confidence
- A child who feels more settled and capable
Because when the body feels better… everything else begins to shift.
