Designing for the Senses

One of my projects has been to work in collaboration with designer Deborah Dimare to create Sensory Smart Spaces for children with ASD and with Sensory Sensitivities. We were featured on the TODAY SHOW a few years ago during Autism Awareness Month!!! What a great experience!

I am SO proud of our little students. This week we opened up our time capsule! I had children redo the same worksheet that we completed on the first day of school! The progress is undeniable and the children’s reactions are magical! They get to see their progress!!! #prek #iloveOT
